REFRESHMENTS -
Home made cakes and teas will be available to enjoy in some of the gardens' on the trail. Local businesses and cafes will also be open to enjoy along the way. 

PLANT SALES -
Specialist plants this year will be provided by Jason and Alison from Bridge Farm. These will be for sale at 'Greengates'which is one of our ticket sale points, and is also one of our'open gardens', located on Coldwell Street. 

There will also be plant sales at Wirksworths 'Secret Orchard Nursery', Chaple Lane.


MONEY RAISED FROM THE EVENT -
Money raised is given to local charities and local community ventures in and around Wirksworth.  Previously this has included Wirksworth Youth Cricket / Wirksworth Swimming Pool / Wirksworth Community Gardens / Wirksworth Music Centre / Stoney Wood / The Skate Park / Waltham House Care Centre / Wirksworth Horticultural Show  / 'Independance' Dance Group / Wirksworth Scout Group. We also donate to Study Guatemala, which is our chosen international charity www.studyguatemala.com

SUPPORT OVER THE WEEKEND -
A small team will co-ordinate the event and will be on hand to offer support and advice.

TOILETS -
Public toilet facilities are available in the small pay and display car park, which is behind the church located on Coldwell Street.

OTHER FACILITIES -
Wirksworth has some wonderful independent shops, so do please come and explore the delights of our local suppliers and artisans. We also have the ever growing and exciting Ecclesbourne Railway - a delight for adults and children alike.


SUNDAY AFTERNOON CONCERT - Wirksworth Community Orchestra will be playing in the new Memorial Hall Gardens, St. John's Street, at 4.15pm - you are invited to come and listen. (If weather is wet the venue will be 'The Maltings, formally known as The Parish Rooms)
